Assiststheresponsible personin performing the required duties for completion ofinstallrelated tasks for electronic product lines and standard electronic systems. Observes the actions of the responsible person(s) and applies as directed.
How you will do it
Helping with installation of electronic systems including start up through final testing. Follow verbal and written instructionreadand understand complex construction blueprints diagrams and specifications used in installation activities.
Carry/move equipment and tools weighing up to 40 pounds. Perform work in unusual and sometimes difficult positions such as climbing ladders scaffolding and high lift equipment up to 40 feet or more.
Maintain a clean and safe work area. Pick up and properly dispose of all trash associated with SimplexGrinnell work.
Wear appropriate safety equipment as required including but not limited to hard hats and work berequiredto work alternate shifts or weekends to meet customer installation requirements.
Perform other duties asrequested.
Daily submission of required paperwork.
What we look for
Required
High School Diploma or GED
Follow verbal and written instructionsreadand understand complex construction blueprints diagrams and specifications used in installation activities.
Construction experiencerequired.
Must have a valid drivers license and reliable transportation.
Successful completion of drug screen and background check.
Capable of performing physical labor to include carrying and moving equipment and tools up to 50-70 lbs.
Able to work in unusual and sometimes difficultpositionsuch as climbing ladders scaffolding and high lift equipment up to 40 feet working within ducts crawl spaces above ceilings etc.
Demonstratea high levelof customer service.
Strong organizational skills positive attitude andan abilityto learn quickly.
Preferred
Experience inanelectrical trade preferred.
Low voltage experience is a plus.
HIRING HOURLY RANGE: $18-$22 (Hourly rate to be determined by the education experience knowledge skills and abilities of the applicant internal equity and alignment with market data.)
