Fire Extinguisher Technician, Boise ID

State Fire is a trusted name in fire protection keeping businesses and people safe across multiple states. We install and service fire alarms suppression systems security solutions and more. Right now were looking for a Fire Extinguisher/Hood Suppression Technician to join our team.

Experience is great but not requiredwe provide full training. If youre willing to learn were willing to teach!

What Youll Do

• Inspect service and repair commercial kitchen fire suppression systems.
• Perform annual testing and maintenance of fire extinguishers.
• Inspect and maintain emergency and exit lighting.
• Complete inspection reports and daily paperwork using a company-provided iPad.
• Service existing clientele and build new relationships to grow the customer base.

What You Need

• Ability to use hand and power tools.
• Comfortable working independently and managing time efficiently.
• Strong communication skills in Englishboth written and verbal.
• Valid drivers license and acceptable driving record.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug test.
• Willingness to work occasional overtime and travel overnight when needed.

Physical Requirements

• Work on ladders scaffolding and stairs.
• Lift and carry up to 70 lbs. without assistance.
• Work indoors and outdoors in various conditions.
