Job Summary

Job Summary
Perform Annual Maintenance 6-year Service Recharges Hydrotesting and Replacements.

Essential Duties/Responsibilities include but not limited to:

Dismantle extinguishers and examine tubing horns head gaskets cutter discs and other parts for defects. replaces worn or damaged parts.
Clean extinguishers and recharge with various agents including soda water and sulfuric acid carbon tetrachloride nitrogen or patented solutions or other.
Test extinguishers for conformity with legal specifications.
Install cabinets and brackets to hold extinguishers.
Facilitate and support sales of fire extinguishers.

Requirements

High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- or one to three years related experience and/or training
- or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Valid Drivers License with Clean Driving Record.
Current Extinguisher Permit (If new to industry will train and provide Contracted Fire College admission lodging and per diem).

Physical Requirements

Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
Walk Stairs.
Work off ladder.
Lift at least 50 lbs.
