Fire Extinguisher Shop Technician, Salt Lake City UT

Experience is great but not requiredwe provide full training. If youre willing to learn were willing to teach!

• Inspect service and recharge fire extinguishers to NFPA 10 standards
  
• Handle dry chemical powder recovery and refilling
  
• Perform basic weight pressure and component checks
  
• Identify damage corrosion or compliance issues
  
• Operate recharge equipment safely and keep the work area clean
  
• Tag label and document serviced extinguishers
  
• Follow safety procedures and assist shop or field teams as needed
  

• Ability to use hand and battery-operated tools.
• Comfortable working independently and managing time efficiently.
• Strong communication skills in Englishboth written and verbal.
• Valid drivers license and acceptable driving record.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug test.
• Willingness to work occasional overtime and travel overnight when needed.
• Obtain a Utah Fire Extinguisher License within 60 days of hire

• Work on ladders scaffolding and stairs.
• Lift and carry up to 70 lbs.
• Work indoors and outdoors in various conditions.
