Finishing Operator Nights

Are you detail-oriented reliable and eager to grow your skills in a fast-paced manufacturing environment Avery Dennison is looking for a Finishing Operator to join our team in Fairport this role you will play a critical part in ensuring our finished products meet exact customer specifications and high-quality standards before shipment.

Shift: B12 Team 2-2-3 schedule 7PM to 7AM

Starting hiring rate: $22.47/hr plus $2/hr shift differential 

What You Will Do:

• Package & Prepare: Label band core-cut and package slit rolls and finished goods according to customer specifications and standard operating procedures (SOPs).

• Ensure Quality: Perform initial product inspections track multiple orders simultaneously and help maintain zero-defect standards.

• Drive Efficiency: Keep work areas supplied with packaging materials support equipment maintenance and actively participate in 5S and continuous improvement projects.

• Collaborate: Communicate across shifts and team members to keep daily operations running safely and efficiently.

Qualifications :

What We Look For:

• High School Diploma/GED OR 3 years of relevant manufacturing work experience.

• Strong focus on safety quality and attention to detail.

• Team-player mindset with a willingness to learn and adapt as production priorities shift.

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and obtain a Lift Truck Operator license.

• Basic computer proficiency and flexibility to work overtime as needed.
