Working for our team you can truly make a are currently looking for a Finishing Manager 3rd shift to join our team! The Finishing Manager manages overall operations in the Finishing Department. Overall responsibility for the effective and successful leadership of labor productivity quality and safety improvement. Ensures safe and efficient operations enhances operational procedures and drives continuous improvement through use of Lean/VM tools. Ensures subordinates support related initiatives for their employees in accordance with company management policiesParticipates in special projects and performs other duties as assignedQualifications:Minimum of High School Diploma with some college education preferredRequires 5 plus years of progressively responsible experience including scheduling and real time operations managementStrong experience in Manufacturing Supply Chain or FulfillmentMust have Lean Manufacturing experienceDemonstrated change management leadership skillsExcellent strategic thinking skillsSolid ability to manage multiple prioritiesStrong teamwork communication and organization skillsExceptional problem resolution and analysis skillsAttention to detail and a strong focus on safety and qualityPrior experience with cross-functional teamsMinimal travel as necessaryIn-plant:The physical demands require standing using hands to finger feel and touch; reach with arms and hands; talk and position requires frequent walking. Occasionally employees are required to climb or balance stoop kneel crouch or crawl. Must be able to regularly lift or move up to 50 vision requirements are close vision distance vision color vision peripheral vision depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
