Job Description

The Financial Systems Analyst manages the daytoday operation of the firms financial systems ensuring the accuracy and integrity of system data. This role handles routine maintenance supports issue resolution and assists in implementing enhancements that keep financial processes running reliably and efficiently.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Support the daily operation maintenance and improvement of the firms financial system Aderant including modules related to billing collections accounts payable general ledger and client/matter management.
  • Troubleshoot system issues perform rootcause analysis and collaborate with senior team members and IT partners to implement solutions.
  • Assist with enhancing financial workflows and processes contributing ideas and participating in solution design discussions.
  • Support the development and maintenance of standard financial reports and queries with opportunities to learn reporting tools such as SSRS and SQL.
  • Document system configurations processes and best practices to strengthen team knowledge and support operational continuity.
  • Support integration activities and learn how Aderant connects with key thirdparty applications such as Iridium Chrome River Intapp Workday and Elegrity.
  • Participate in system upgrades testing cycles and project initiatives to support system reliability and ongoing improvement.
  • Work closely with User Support to help guide end users address routine issues and promote best practices for leveraging financial systems effectively.
  • Collaborate with Finance and IT partners to maintain and update reporting impacted by process database or system enhancements.
  • Engage with vendors and internal technical teams as needed to support integration or enhancement efforts.

REQUIRED EDUCATION KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelors degree in Finance Accounting Information Systems Business Administration or related field; or equivalent relevant experience.
  • 13 years of experience supporting financial systems data processes or related technical/operational roles.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES

  • Basic SQL skills or willingness to learn.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office including strong Excel skills.
  • Strong analytical capability and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fastpaced environment.
  • Effective communication skills with the ability to work with crossfunctional teams and end users.
  • Organized proactive and curious with an interest in growing into more advanced Financial Systems responsibilities.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Ability to sit and stand for extended periods.

Qualified applicants with arrest and conviction records will be considered for the position in accordance with the California Fair Chance Act. California New York and Washington DC Pay range for this role with final offer amount dependent on skillset and experience is $90000 - $110000.
