Job Summary
Position Description:
We are seeking a Financial Systems Accounting Analyst with strong experience supporting accounting flows in Oracle E Business Suite (EBS) or similar financial ERP systems. This role focuses on analyzing transaction impacts validating accounting accuracy and improving traceability auditability and compliance within federal financial environments.
This position can be based anywhere within the Continental US.
Your future duties and responsibilities:
.Support and analyze ERP accounting flows including subledger togeneral ledger posting logic.
.Review and interpret formal accounting treatment standards (e.g. Treasury Accounting Treatment Manual).
.Trace end to end transactions through ERP modules to validate accounting accuracy with emphasis on Budget to Report (B2R).
.Identify and document discrepancies or incorrect posting behavior; recommend corrective actions.
.Communicate accounting logic issues clearly to technical and functional teams.
.Contribute to modernization initiatives improving traceability posting logic transparency and audit support.
.Assist with reporting compliance validation and user enablement activities.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
.Minimum five years of experience working with Oracle EBS (or similar financial mgmt. ERP application) supporting accounting flows including subledger togeneral ledger posting logic.
.Experience reviewing and interpreting formal accounting treatment documentation such as the Treasury Accounting Treatment Manual.
.Experience analyzing transaction impacts on the general ledger and identifying discrepancies or incorrect accounting behavior.
.Proven track record tracing end to end transaction lifecycles through Oracle EBS (or similar financial mgmt. ERP application) modules to validate accounting accuracy. Focus on Budget to Report (B2R) experience.
.Experience documenting findings recommending corrections and communicating accounting logic issues to technical and functional stakeholders.
.Ability to obtain and maintain required government clearance.
Desired qualifications/non essential skills required:
.Experience in federal financial management or compliance environments.
.Familiarity with audit traceability compliance dashboards and automated validation tools.
.Knowledge of Treasury/DoD transaction libraries and mapping.
.Experience supporting accounting logic modernization or traceability initiatives.

.Ability to translate functional accounting issues into clear technical requirements.
.Detail oriented organized and comfortable working within structured federal programs.
CGI is required by law in some jurisdictions to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set level experience relevant training and licensure and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit based performance CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $79600.00 $156700.00.
