Join Select Medicals Financial Planning & Analysis team and help support the financial performance of hospitals across the this highly visible role youll partner with Finance and operational leaders to drive meaningful impact through analytics forecasting and strategic support.
What Youll Do
As a Financial Analyst youll play a key role in supporting the financial success of our acute inpatient hospitals by:
- Providing accurate financial forecasting and reporting to support operational decision-making
- Analyzing large complex datasets to identify trends drive performance and enhance patient satisfaction
- Supporting the development and presentation of the annual inpatient capital and operating budgets
- Partnering with Directors of Finance and Business Development to prepare pro forma analyses for acquisitions start-ups and relocations
- Analyzing consolidated financial statements
- Supporting our joint venture partners through the preparation of quarterly board reports and strategic financial analysis
- Testing and reviewing finance systems implementations and enhancements
- Delivering complex ad hoc analyses for hospital leadership including evaluating the impact of regulatory changes
What Were Looking For
Required:
- Bachelors Degree in Accounting Finance or Business Management
- 35 years of progressive business or financial analysis/reporting experience
- Strong MS Excel skills
- Ability to independently research analyze and communicate financial information
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to meet tight deadlines
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Ability to collaborate and thrive in a fast-paced environment
Helpful but not required:
- Experience in the healthcare industry
- Working knowledge of ORACLE G/L OneStream including Quickview Add On and Strategy or similar database repository tool
Work Environment
This role is based in Mechanicsburg Pennsylvania (17055) and operates in an on-site/hybrid model. Youll enjoy a collaborative campus setting with outdoor rest areas and walking trailsperfect for quick breaks or recharging during the day.
