A premier global law firm is seeking a Financial Markets Associate Attorney to join its Dallas office.

This opportunity is ideal for an attorney interested in representing lenders and borrowers in sophisticated leveraged finance asset-based lending and other complex financing transactions.

3 years of finance banking leveraged finance or commercial lending experience gained at a large or sophisticated law firm

Experience representing lenders and borrowers in a broad range of financing transactions

Significant experience handling leveraged finance transactions secured lending transactions and asset-based lending facilities

Experience with reserve-based lending (RBL) financings is preferred

Experience drafting and negotiating credit agreements security agreements intercreditor agreements commitment papers and related financing documentation

Ability to assume substantial responsibility for transaction structuring drafting deal management and closing processes

Working knowledge of Article 9 of the Uniform Commercial Code and secured lending concepts

Excellent drafting negotiation analytical and communication skills

Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment while maintaining significant client contact

Desire for substantial client interaction and hands-on transactional experience

Excellent academic credentials

J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school required

Texas bar admission required or ability to become admitted

Sophisticated global financial markets platform

Exposure to complex leveraged finance and asset-based lending transactions

Significant client interaction and responsibility
