Position: Sr. Financial Controller/CFO

Location: Saint George UT 84770 (All 5 days onsite)

Interview Process: Two phone interviews followed by one or two in-person interviews minimum of three references that we check. Background check and pre-employment drug screen as also mandatory to the process.

Mandatory is cost accounting experience in a manufacturing environment. Strong analytical skills and ability to explain complex accounting issues to management/non-accountants.

Excellent communication and leadership skills. Ownership relies on this role for strategic input and direction

Nice-to-have includes benefits administration experience. Commercial insurance knowledge. H/R and legal oversight.

Key Responsibilities:

• Financial Leadership: Oversee all accounts ledgers and reporting systems ensuring compliance with appropriate GAAP standards and regulatory requirements.
• Strategic Planning: Partner with executive leadership to prepare annual budgets financial forecasts and cash flow analyses to drive corporate growth.
• Reporting & Analysis: Consolidate analyze and present timely monthly quarterly and annual financial statements to stakeholders and board members.
• Internal Controls: Maintain monitor and strengthen internal control structures to safeguard corporate assets and ensure absolute data integrity.
• Team Management: Lead mentor and develop a high-performing accounting team fostering a culture of professional growth and continuous improvement.
• Audit & Tax Coordination: Serve as the primary point of contact for external auditors tax preparers and regulatory agencies.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Education: Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or a related field (Required).
• Certification: CPA or CMA designation is highly preferred.
• Experience: 7 years of progressive accounting experience with at least 3 years in a Controller or senior financial management role.
• Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in enterprise ERP systems (e.g. NetSuite Sage SAP) and expert-level MS Excel skills.
• Leadership Style: Exceptional communication skills with a proven track record of managing accounting teams and presenting financial data to non-financial executives.
