Financial Controller

In this hands-on working manager position the ideal Financial Controller will support finance and company leadership in preparing and maintaining accurate financial records and timely monthly/annual reporting applying consistent accounting policies and procedures; managing basic treasury functions; and coaching and leadership to accounting and other staff. More specifically these include but are not limited to managing and oversight of accounts payable and payroll staff and functions cash reporting software development cost analysis regulatory and tax filing submissions annual audit engagement management systems administration as well as ensuring compliance with internal control policies and procedures. This individual must be able to prioritize and manage multiple priorities at a with Director of Finance to direct accounting functions including general ledger payroll and accounts of daily weekly monthly quarterly and annual financial and operational reports as needed; including but not limited to core financial statements and cash reports and that all account reconciliations are completed including preparation of assigned account reconciliations journal entries and of treasury and banking functions to include preparation of ACH transactions wire transfers and foreign currency payment to monthly fluctuation analyses and reporting and support financial planning and analysis in preparation of budgeting and with policies procedures systems and internal controls review maintain and recommend with financial budgeting and and assist in the preparation of information to external compliance with local state and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings and assists with any related of online banking credit cards insurance documents registrations in or lead special projects as necessary potentially including NetSuite a deep understanding of the business and strengthen related business -user of ERP systems providing training and ERP expertise to operational staff as and mentor accounting and other all ad hoc requests from duties as degree (or similar degree with relevant experience).At least five years supervisory and large public accounting firm with a growing middle market business ($100M - $500M).Demonstrated success of increasing responsibilities within financial and managerial in Microsoft Office Suite advanced proficiency in Microsoft to read analyze research and interpret technical accounting topics to ensure compliance with GAAP financial reporting and accounting experience including the ability to influence coach teach and communicate and effectively react to the changing needs of a dynamic company in a results-driven organization and analytical skills and ability to manage priorities under tight skills to work with and build rapport with internal and external business partners remain open to others ideas and exhibits willingness to try new solving identify and resolve problems in a timely manner gather and analyze information skillfully and maintain control demonstrate accuracy and standards of accuracy and precision; high attention to detail and monitors own work to ensure QualificationsSoftware technology risk management or security industry -as-a-Service revenue recognition with ERP systems and implementation management experience. Prior experience specifically with NetSuite will be highly experience with systems administration of 3rd party applications such as FloQast Expensify Versapay Solupay Avalara UltiPro etc. highly accounting knowledge US GAAP / IFRS and at least some of the following areas: ASC 606 revenue recognition; capitalized software; income state and local and sales taxes; multinational accounting; than 10%
