In this role youll serve as an important resource for patients by assisting with registration insurance verification payment collection and financial assistance information. As a trusted ambassador of Deaconess youll help create a welcoming environment built on courtesy respect empathy dignity and optimism while ensuring patients receive the support they need throughout their healthcare journey.

What Youll Do:

• Assist patients with registration insurance verification payment collection and financial assistance resources.
• Deliver exceptional customer service while ensuring compliance with applicable regulations and hospital policies.
• Support patient access and account management through registration financial counseling cash handling and administrative functions.
• Collaborate with clinical and operational teams to facilitate patient admissions and care coordination.
• Provide cross-coverage within the Access Department and perform other duties as assigned.

Education & Experience:

• Completion of High School or GED is required.
• Two to four years of experience in a physician office hospital registration collection agency hospital or professional billing or training at an educational institution that includes medical billing is required.
