Under general supervision the Financial Analyst and Operations Lead independently performs financial monitoring analysis reconciliation and forecasting for multiple funding sources implements tracking tools and ensures compliance with university policies.

• Develops and maintains processes for tracking salary increases labor distributions and funding allocations across bargaining units. Tracks and reconciles payroll postings for College personnel.
• Monitors and reconciles College state trust auxiliary lottery IRA CQF grant and Foundation accounts and expenditures. Posts correcting entries and budget transfers as needed.
• Reviews departmental reconciliation activity and funding usage to ensure accuracy compliance and appropriate accounting treatment.
• Coordinates administrative and financial support activities related to grants contracts and externally funded programs as well as cohorted programs; serves as liaison with faculty Graduate Studies The University Corporation (TUC) Extended Learning Foundation and other administrative units.
• Provides training and consultative guidance to staff and faculty regarding budgeting purchasing travel and financial procedures.
• Conducts financial and operational analysis for special projects accreditation reporting and strategic planning initiatives including AACSB annual and five-year reports.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Knowledge Skills & Abilities

• Demonstrated knowledge of financial management principles budgeting practices fund accounting and fiscal compliance within a complex organizational environment. Ability to analyze reconcile and interpret financial data from multiple funding sources; identify discrepancies and recommend corrective actions; prepare detailed financial reports forecasts and budget projections; and ensure adherence to applicable policies regulations and funding restrictions. Skill in utilizing enterprise financial systems data warehouses and advanced spreadsheet applications to support financial monitoring reporting and operational decision-making.
• Strong analytical organizational and problem-solving skills with the ability to coordinate multiple financial and administrative processes simultaneously while maintaining a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail. Ability to communicate complex financial information clearly to diverse audiences; provide consultative guidance on budgeting purchasing travel and financial procedures; build collaborative relationships across departments; and develop efficient tracking reconciliation and reporting tools that enhance operational effectiveness and support strategic planning initiatives.
• Working knowledge of personnel administration practices payroll processes labor cost distribution and employment-related documentation in a higher education or similarly complex environment. Ability to coordinate and review personnel transactions analyze compensation and funding data interpret policies and procedures and ensure the accurate completion of employment-related forms and records. Skill in maintaining confidentiality exercising sound judgment and supporting operational activities that require a high level of accuracy discretion and attention to detail.
• Demonstrated ability to coordinate administrative and financial activities across multiple programs funding sources and stakeholder groups. Skill in developing reports conducting operational analyses and formulating recommendations that support organizational planning and decision-making. Ability to build effective working relationships with faculty staff administrators and external partners; communicate policy and procedural information clearly; facilitate collaboration across functional areas; and represent departmental interests in meetings committees and campus-wide initiatives.

• The anticipated HIRING RANGE is $5274 $6689 per month dependent on qualifications and experience. The salary range for this classification is: $5274 - $7684 per month.
• HOURS: Full Time; 40 hours per week; Monday through Friday. May include evenings and weekends.
• This is a Regular position with a one-year probationary period.
