The CFO Administration team within UMB consists ofmultipledepartments that report directly up to our Chief Financial Officer. UMBs CFO Administration team provides support in a multitude of areas and across all lines of business- whether its basic booking keeping of expenses or financial reportingeach role impacts the overall profitability andsurvivabilityof the company.The CFO Administration team is much more than justafinance team itexpands into ourvarious lines of businesses.
Each line of business within UMB has their own line finance team and within the line finance teamthereis a Senior Financial Analyst.TheSenior Financial Analystis the one whoperformsa variety offinancialactivities including budgeting forecasting buildingfinancialmodels assisting withfinancialplanning performing research and analysis preparing reports and assisting with closeprocesses.The Senior Financial Analyst provides financial analyticsthat influence oursenior leadershiptomake informedstrategicdecisionsthat supportthe initiativesfortheirline of business. TheSenior Financial analysthas a unique opportunity to network internally by working witha diverse group of business partners acrossall ofUMBs footprint.Therole of aSenior Financial Analyst may be seento some as just a support positionin the backgroundof the company butin actualitytheyserve as a strong support inguiding our leadership to makedecisions that impact the overall success of the company.

How youll spend your time:
Interpersonal skillswill be usedtoexplain analyses toseniorleadershipthat willinfluence their strategicdecisions.
Strong and detailed strategic analysis skillswill beusedto createand determinereturn on investmentsfora project orproductsothatleadership canthendetermine the profitability or make effectivemodelingdecision.
Ability to navigate in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Power Point so thatraw datacan beturnedit intoan informational and effectivepresentationor reportthat will be presentedtoseniorleadership.

Bachelors Degree in Finance Accounting Business Management (with emphasis in Accounting) OR related area OR equivalent work experience
3 years finance or related experience
Experience with Oracle PeopleSoft Financial Management or Hyperion
Compensation Range:
$98208 - $144705The posted compensation range on this listing represents UMBs good faith and reasonable estimate based on its budget and what it expects to be the starting pay for this role but the actual compensation may vary by geographic location experience level and other job-related factors.
