Analyst on the Originations team based in Parses headquarters in Scottsdale AZ. The position will report directly to the Senior Associate who leads Texas Originations. The position will initially allocate 50% capacity to Texas pursuits and the remaining 50% to supporting the broader Originations team nationally. Compensation is competitive and will be commensurate with experience. The role is hybrid with an expected in-office presence 3 days per week (Tuesday Thursday) at our Scottsdale AZ office. Occasional additional in-office days may be necessary to support important projects collaborations or meetings.
The Originations team is responsible for sourcing underwriting negotiating and facilitating the execution of one-off and programmatic real estate development joint ventures and preferred equity investments. Parse focuses on residential real estate primarily focused on conventional multifamily single-family build for rent student housing and active adult. This role represents an opportunity to work on all facets of the investment process and engage with a multitude of constituents internally and externally.
Our growing firm is hiring an Analyst to assist with recurring and ad-hoc analyses. As an Analyst you will be exposed to various aspects of the financial and operational side of our business as well as participate as an integral member of our investment process. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Underwriting new potential investment opportunities
- Performing market level analysis including rent comps sales comps demographic data etc.
- Developing presentations for the Investment Committee Internal Stakeholders and Investors
- Managing the investment pipeline
Parse seeks to hire individuals who are intelligent highly motivated and have demonstrated excellence in prior addition to strong quantitative / analytical skills and an unwavering commitment to ethics and integrity Parse is seeking candidates with the following attributes:
- Preferably 1 to 2 years of relevant experience in real estate investment banking or capital markets
- Advanced financial modeling skills including a high degree of proficiency with Excel
- Bachelors in Real Estate Finance Economics Accounting or other analytical / quantitative fields
- Strong verbal communication and business writing skills with the ability to clearly organize analyze and present information
- Exceptional time management and organizational skills with high attention to detail
- An inquisitive mind with a strong desire to learn and grow
- Ability to think independently with advanced problem-solving skills
