Description of Work

The primary purpose of this position is to provide management and oversight to the development of rates for Maternity and Foster Care Homes and the State/County Special Assistance rates for adult care providers. The position also supervises and provides detailed reviews of Home Office Cost Reports Developmental Day rates and the rates calculated for DHHS Mental Health Facilities.

Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Updating cost report models to ensure the correct calculation and development of rates.

- Performing financial analyses on submitted cost reports to validate the data is complete and accurate.

- Reviewing the Disproportionate Share Hospital (DSH) Estimates DSH Survey and DSH Supplemental Forms.

- Providing cost report training to providers on the proper use of the rate setting application to input and update data required for the rate setting process.

- Consulting with DHHS agencies to ensure the proper application of theories governing the accounting for costs and services.

- Special projects are worked on as required.

Salary Grade Range: $60881.00 - $106544.00

Recruitment Range: $60881.00 - $102574.00
