Financial Analyst II (Risk Management)

Under minimal supervision is responsible for performing a wide variety of financial reporting modeling and related complex analyses for assigned areas of responsibility.

A successful candidate will have direct experience of Insurance Policies including:

• knowledge understanding and administration of policy coverage parts
• coverage terms and conditions and claims reporting & handling broker and carrier communications
• insurance credentialing claims history verifications certificates of insurance endorsements loss run reports
• captive / self-insured insurance programs compliance and actuarial data reporting

Education:

Requires Bachelors Degree in Business Administration Accounting or Finance or related field or equivalent experience.

Experience:

• Requires minimum of two-four years of experience as an accountant financial analyst or auditor; three years preferred. Experience in Healthcare clinical operations and/or finance desirable.
• Experience with developing financial models: budgeting business expansion/contracting

Skills:

• Demonstrated knowledge of accounting principles and analytical methodologies. Working knowledge of statistical analysis.
• Excellent writing and presentation skills.
• Ability to use a personal computer with a working knowledge of basic software including Excel Word E-mail and other spreadsheet and database management programs database query and/or report writers.
• Ability to produce concise written analytical reports.
• Ability to produce efficient spreadsheets supporting analysis.
• Ability to work with all types of individuals including management and communicate with clarity and confidence.
• Project management skills.
