Financial Analyst I

MW Partners is currently seeking a Financial Analyst I to work for our client who is a global leader in the media and entertainment industry.

Responsibilities and duties:

• Enter contractual obligations in financial system (SAP) and maintain project metadata
• Process Cast & Crew payroll for Animation division and Film Division when needed
• Calculate and process monthly term deal producer overhead payments in accordance with contractual terms
• Submit set-up and termination paperwork for term deal employees; compile bi-weekly timecards; process expense reports
• Liaise with payees during vendor set-up process
• Review and process invoices relating to development projects and term deals
• Prepare cost-to-date summary with interest calculation as requested by business users
• Assist in preparation of supporting schedules for commitment management reporting
• Manage travel credit card payment and monthly reconciliation
• Prepare journal entries
• Assist in managing calendar for head of Development Finance
• Other Ad-hoc reporting as required

Requirements:

• Bchelors Degree in Accounting / Finance
• Proficient skills in Excel (Microsoft Office Suite)
• 2 years Finance/Accounting experience
• SAP and or Oracle experience preferred but not required
• Good analytical skills; detail oriented
• Strong time management organizational and communication skills
