Qualifying Questions:

Summary:

• Analyzes financial data to support engineering teams with cost analysis and budgeting.

• Generates purchase requests for engineering scope and project requirements.

• Provides technical writing assistance including test plans procedures final reports and presentations for engineering teams.

• Creates complex spreadsheets pivot tables and charts using advanced Microsoft Excel functions.

• Uses Excel functions such as VLOOKUP and INDEX or MATCH for financial data analysis.

• Develops and edits technical documents using Microsoft Word styles and formatting.

• Creates presentations using PowerPoint templates themes and graphics.

• Performs actuals vs. plan analysis and variance reporting using cost accounting principles.

• Analyzes and interprets financial data to identify trends and provide insights.

• Applies knowledge of cost accounting principles including budgeting and cost control for engineering projects.

Requirements:

• Ability to Obtain a Security Clearance.

• Bachelors degree in Finance Accounting Business Administration or a related field.

• 2 years of experience in financial analysis cost accounting or a related field.

• Strong understanding of financial principles budgeting and cost control.

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel including complex spreadsheets pivot tables charts VLOOKUP and INDEX or MATCH functions.

• Strong skills in Microsoft Word including technical document creation styles and formatting.

• Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint including presentations templates and themes.

• Experience generating purchase requests and supporting procurement processes.

• Experience with Information Technology and Engineering scope including cost accounting and financial analysis.

• Preferred: Experience with financial reporting tools such as Tableau or Power BI and familiarity with defense or aerospace industry financial systems.
