Job Summary:
- We are seeking an experienced Financial Analyst/ FP&A Analyst to support financial planning forecasting budgeting and financial analysis activities.
- The ideal candidate will have a strong accounting or finance background advanced analytical skills and experience working within a manufacturing and/or R&D environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop interpret and implement financial concepts for financial planning and control.
- Perform technical analysis to assess current and future financial performance.
Gather analyze prepare and summarize recommendations related to:
- Financial plans.
- Acquisition activities.
- Trended future requirements.
- Operating forecasts.
Conduct economic research and financial studies involving:
- Rates of return.
- Depreciation.
- Working capital requirements.
- Investment opportunities.
- Investment performance.
- Impact of governmental requirements.
- Support budgeting and forecasting processes utilizing financial planning tools.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Accounting or a finance-related field.
- Minimum 5 years of finance/ accounting experience.
- Experience with budgeting and forecasting.
Strong proficiency with:
- SAP (Finance Module.)
- Oracle EPM (Financial/ Corporate Planning.)
- Workday.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel.
- Exceptional Excel skills with the ability to analyze and interpret financial data.
- Must be local to Albany NY and available to work onsite during the training period.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working in a Manufacturing environment.
- Experience supporting Research & Development (R&D) organizations.
