Financial Analyst, Amazon Finance Music Licensing

Amazon Music is seeking a Financial Analyst to support our Music Merch and licensing business. This position will play a key role in driving business growth by supporting deal evaluations performance reporting and insights and process building and enhancements. Key job responsibilities
> Driving planning and budgeting and related deliverables and ensuring financial discipline and compliance.
> Prepare financial metrics financial reporting and financial analysis related to music licensing deals
> Own refine and develop key areas of our deal valuation models and royalty reporting in Creator Services space
> Engage in strategic initiatives with high degree of ambiguity
> Manage and execute entire projects from start to finish including project management data gathering and manipulation synthesis and modeling problem solving and communication of insights and recommendations
>Partner with multiple business stakeholders; develop action plans; measure and analyze results


- 1 years of finance experience
- 2 years of applying key financial performance indicators (KPIs) to analyses experience
- Bachelors degree in Finance Accounting Business Economics or a highly analytical field (e.g. Engineering Math and Computer Science)
- Knowledge of standard software including Excel Access Oracle Essbase SQL and VBA skills
- Experience using data to influence business decisions
- Experience in corporate finance including budgeting/planning forecasting and reporting

- 2 years of participating in continuous improvement projects in your team to scale and improve controllership with measurable results experience
- Experience in TM1 Data Warehouse and SQL

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience qualifications and location.
