Finance Manager, WW Fulfillment by Amazon, SPS Finance

Amazons World-Wide Fulfillment By Amazon (WW FBA) organization is looking for an innovative results-oriented and strategic Finance Manager to partner with the WW FBA Product Tech and Operations leadership team. This Finance professional will help steward our growth into this complex but fast-growing space as a strategic and operationally-minded leader who is not afraid of ambiguity and challenges the status quo.

The ideal candidate will shine in ambiguous situations navigating between the details and big picture playing a primary role as owner of some of our organizations most visible mechanisms and artifacts (e.g. weekly business reviews quarterly business reviews annual operating plans 3-year vision plans). They will partner with WW FBA Product Tech and Operations leadership team to develop and drive operational processes (Business Reviews Finance and Operations Goal Management) people-driven programs technical programs (ability to understand complex technology-driven initiatives and programs). They are able to influence successfully at all levels think strategically are a talented Finance Manager strong organizer take initiative and operate effectively across many teams. Key job responsibilities

- Oversee financial reporting for your business area. Understand input drivers and validate data integrity to influence strategic decision-making and long-range planning. Leverage data to surface disruptive ideas and deliver actionable guidance to business leaders globally.

- Prioritize Controllership by identifying resolving or providing guidance on complex data integrity issues. Strengthen controls to mitigate financial risk and reinforce frugality.

- Educate business partners on financial and non-financial trade-offs. Exercise sound judgment in ambiguous environments where data may be scarce or difficult to procure.

- Communicate data clearly concisely and unambiguouslyboth written and verbal. Adapt style across audiences to articulate complex finance issues with precision. Your communications drive critical business decisions.

- Collect and analyze data to develop insightful reporting that drives business performance improvement and cost reduction.

- Have Backbone; Disagree and Commit to foster constructive dialogue harmonize conflicting views and drive decisions. Serve as a positive collaborative influencer who models operational excellence and efficiency for new team members.



About the team
What We Do

The WW FBA Inventory Optimization Services Finance team is a specialized Finance team embedded within the SPS Finance (WW Stores Finance) organization. We provide critical financial support for key technology and product initiatives across FBA focusing on streamlining the SPS Cost-to-Serve Monthly Business Review (MBR) process and developing data-driven insights that connect FBA operational inputs to financial outcomes. We serve as the financial bridge between technical teams and business stakeholders translating complex technical investments into clear financial narratives that drive strategic close partnership with Product and Tech teams we ensure financial accountability optimize resource allocation and identify operational efficiency opportunities.

We aim to simplify complex financial processes improve visibility into cost structures and help scale the FBA business efficiently. Through our work we will establish best practices for technology finance that scale across Amazon. We will also develop finance talent with deep technical expertise and business acumen.

- 5 years of tax finance or a related analytical field experience
- 6 years of applying key financial performance indicators (KPIs) to analyses experience
- Bachelors degree in finance accounting business economics or a related analytical field (e.g. engineering math computer science)
- 5 years of dissecting financial data and identifying patterns that support business strategy experience
- 4 years of leading cross-functional initiatives that drive financial performance and strategy experience

- 6 years of identifying incomplete or inaccurate data identifying the root cause and creating/implementing an escalation plan experience
- 6 years of solving complex business challenges by delivering accurate and timely financial models analysis and recommendations that have a proven impact on business (e.g. financial savings operational improvements or customer benefits) experience
- MBA or CPA
- Experience working with large-scale data mining and reporting tools (examples: SQL MS Access Essbase Cognos) and other financial systems (examples: Oracle SAP Lawson JD Edwards)
- Experience delivering forecasting budgeting and variance analysis and data interpretation of results

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience qualifications and location.
