Location:This is a full-time in-person role based in our Roseland NJ office a professional collegial environment where the finance and leadership teams work closely together and cross-functional relationships matter.

Note:This role requires 5 years of experience in FP&A finance or accounting with strong budgeting forecasting and financial reporting skills. Candidates must be comfortable working in a fast-paced high-expectation environment supporting senior leadership and attorneys. Candidates without relevant finance backgrounds will not be considered.

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Own monthly internal financial reporting and key metrics analysis ensuring accuracy consistency and timeliness across all reporting outputs
• Lead budgeting and forecasting processes monitor actuals vs. budget and provide clear variance analysis and insights to leadership
• Serve as the CFOs primary point of contact for day-to-day finance execution and follow-through
• Build and maintain financial models and internal reporting tools to support strategic and operational decision-making
• Coordinate with practice areas and internal departments to manage project timelines track key deliverables and ensure execution
• Prepare materials for partner and management meetings translating financial data into clear actionable insights
• Partner with Accounting to align financial reporting with operational needs and firm priorities
• Continuously improve reporting structures workflows and efficiency across the finance function
• Maintain consistent organized reporting formats that leadership can rely on

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelors degree in Finance Accounting Economics or related field required
• 5 years of experience in FP&A finance accounting or a related role
• Strong Excel and data analysis skills; experience building and maintaining financial models
• Solid background in budgeting forecasting and financial reporting
• Experience with SurePoint or similar financial management systems preferred
• Familiarity with document management systems such as NetDocuments a plus
• Highly organized and detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities and consistently meet deadlines
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced high-expectation environment alongside attorneys and firm leadership
• Clear practical communicator written and verbal
