Finance Manager

The Finance Manager leads financial planning forecasting reporting and analysis for the General Industrial (GI) Division serving as a strategic partner to Marketing Business Development and R&D. This role manages divisional budgeting and performance analysis oversees incentive plan financials provides business insights to support growth and profitability and develops financial talent while driving continuous improvement initiatives.

• Coordinateall regionalannual operating plansand monthly forecasts forGeneral Industrial including preparation ofannual operating plan schedules andexhibitsas assignedandbottom-upbudgets for Marketing.
• Provide direct financial support to theBusiness Developmentand Marketing teamsincluding ah-hoc analysismonth endreporting guidance on product profitability and customer segmentation.
• Evaluationrecommendationandcoordination/preparationoffield budgetsas it relates toIncentive streamline the process along with the system and processchanges taking place.
• Analyze andreport onthe Divisions financial resultsand provide monthly commentary on variances.
• Financial analysis and supportforGI Incentive Plans
• Support management by developing and providingaccurateandtimelyfinancial statistical and/or operational reports that are useful in making sound business decisions.
• Develop theFinancial Analystfor futuregrowth within the organization
• Participateinspecial projects asrequired( initiativesetc).
• SupportR&Dprovidingrelevant reporting analysis and guidance on productivity metrics. budgetary spending and capital projects as well as acting as theconduit between Marketing and R&D to help financially prioritize lab work requests andreportingon new product innovation.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must have a bachelors degree in finance or accounting.
• Must have five (5) years of finance experience.
• Must have coatings industry experience and knowledge.

• Must have reporting experience and knowledge.

Preferred Requirements:

• Have performance coatings group knowledge.

• Have experience with Sherwin-Williams financial systems.
