In a large clinic practice the Finance Manager is a critical link between clinical operations and financial sustainability ensuring the organization can deliver high-quality care while maintaining profitability and compliance. This role requires both technical financial expertise and an understanding of healthcare delivery systems.

How youll contribute
A Finance Manager who excels in this role:

• Oversees the day-to-day financial operations ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations and supporting strategic financial planning to maintain the clinics financial health and long-term sustainability.
• Oversees accounting billing accounts receivable and reimbursement processes ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.
• Develops and manages budgets forecasts revenue and expenses and monitors performance against financial goals.
• Ensures compliance with federal state and local financial laws healthcare regulations and internal control standards.
• Prepares statistical data activity reports and trend analyses to support decision-making and identifies opportunities to reduce costs and enhance revenue.
• Oversees the revenue cycle manages insurance contracts negotiates contract terms and ensures efficient patient billing and collections.
• Collaborates with clinic leadership to align financial strategies with operational and clinical objectives.
• Supervises finance staff within a dyad organizational structure delegates responsibilities and ensures departmental goals are achieved within approved budgets.
• Partners with clinical and administrative teams to evaluate business performance allocate resources and implement cost-effective financial strategies.
• Usually reports to a Director or CFO with authority to manage personnel and make financial decisions within the clinics scope

What were looking for

Education:

• Bachelors degree in finance accounting or a related field is required.

Skills & Experience:

• Typically 5 years in healthcare or finance with 13 years in supervisory roles preferred.
• Strong analytical budgeting and forecasting abilities; proficiency in financial software and reporting tools; knowledge of healthcare reimbursement systems and regulations.
• Leadership communication problem-solving and attention to detail.
