The rate of pay will be determined on education and experience level.
MAJOR DUTIES:
- Accounts receivable functions for the district.
- Assist with open enrollment transportation and early retiree insurance invoicing.
- Process cash receipts manual and electronic into finance software.
- Process returned checks as needed.
- Assist with P-Card administration
- Assist with the administration of the MySchoolBucks software.
- Assist with the Breakdown Insurance Program.
- Assist with Payroll/Benefits as needed.
- Substitutes at the Reception desk as needed.
- Other duties as assigned.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: AA degree or equivalent work experience as an administrative assistant or secretary or finance generalist. We seek proficiency in the operation of a computerized data entry system of accounting. Proficiency in the operation of database programs spreadsheet applications and word-processing is essential. Working knowledge of office equipment such as printers and scanners. Ability to handle various situations with staff parents and the general public. Attention to detail and problem-solving skills. Excellent written and verbal communication.
Knowledge skills and abilities required to carry out the job satisfactorily.
