Finance Director

Our client is seeking a Finance Director to serve as a strategic business partner and senior finance leader within a growing multi-entity organization. This role combines financial planning and analysis technical accounting operational finance and strategic decision support to help drive business growth and operational excellence. The ideal candidate is both a strategic thinker and a hands-on leader with experience supporting executive leadership through budgeting forecasting financial reporting process improvements and acquisition-related initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the annual budgeting process rolling forecasts variance analysis and executive financial reporting
• Partner with executive leadership to translate business strategies into financial plans operating metrics and actionable insights
• Develop financial models to support strategic initiatives profitability analysis capital allocation and business planning
• Support mergers and acquisitions including financial due diligence integration planning purchase accounting coordination and synergy tracking
• Prepare executive Board and lender reporting packages with accurate financial analysis and recommendations
• Drive cash flow forecasting working capital management and overall financial performance
• Improve financial reporting processes systems and controls to increase efficiency scalability and transparency
• Partner cross-functionally with operations HR technology and business leaders to support organizational objectives
• Develop and mentor a high-performing finance team while fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement
• Support special projects and strategic initiatives as the organization continues to grow

• Bachelors degree in Finance Accounting or a related field required; MBA a plus
• CPA certification a plus
• 10 years of progressive experience in finance accounting FP&A corporate finance transaction support or related leadership roles
• Strong background in budgeting forecasting financial modeling executive reporting and business partnering
• Experience supporting multi-entity or high-growth organizations preferred
• Experience with mergers acquisitions and post-acquisition integrations is highly desirable
• Strong understanding of GAAP financial reporting and operational finance
• Excellent analytical leadership communication and problem-solving skills
• Ability to influence senior leadership while balancing strategic planning with hands-on execution
