Job Summary

Were seeking someone to join our team as an Associate in Finance to develop and deliver clear engaging internal communications that support Firm priorities business changes and leadership messaging across multiple channels.

In the Finance division we act as a partner to business units around the globe by providing management review analysis and advisory services of the Firms financial and capital resources. This is an Associate level position within Finance.

What youll do in the role

  • Collaborate with a varied group of colleagues in Finance and across the Firm

  • Adhere to the Firms risk and regulatory standards policies and controls

  • Act as a culture carrier; embody the Firms values and hold yourself accountable to Firm standards

  • Develop and deliver clear engaging internal communications that support Firm priorities business changes and leadership messaging across multiple channels

  • Gain experience with the end-to-end design and execution of employee communication engagement and formal programming such as open forums and networking events

  • Manage end-to-end communication execution including drafting content coordinating approvals and maintaining a communication calendar to meet tight deadlines

  • Partner with senior leaders HR and business stakeholders to translate complex information into simple employee-friendly messages

  • Ensure all communications reflect Firm tone style and brand standards with strong focus on accuracy consistency and attention to detail

  • Highly detail-oriented with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple deliverables

  • Motivation to be accountable and deliver positive results

  • Independent resourceful and a self-starter

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word PowerPoint and Excel

  • At least 3 years relevant experience with a Bachelors degree


Optional

  • Interest or familiarity with financial markets and products

  • Previous executive communications experience

Expected base pay rates for the role will be between $80 000 and $115 000 per year at the commencement of employment. However base pay if hired will be determined on an individualized basis and is only part of the total compensation package which depending on the position may also include commission earnings incentive compensation discretionary bonuses other short and long-term incentive packages and other Morgan Stanley sponsored benefit programs.
