Job Summary
As a Senior Finance Associate within the Corporate & Institutional Banking (C&IB) Finance organization you will support the PNC Real Estate business with a primary focus on the Multifamily Capital platform. This Pittsburgh-based onsite role offers a unique opportunity to combine accounting financial reporting forecasting strategic analysis and executive-level partnership within a dynamic and growing line of business.
This position is ideal for an accounting or finance professional looking to broaden their experience beyond traditional accounting responsibilities and gain exposure to business strategy executive decision-making regulatory reporting and enterprise-wide financial initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Financial & Management Reporting
Prepare and analyze monthly financial results management reports and key business metrics.
Partner with Finance and business leaders to explain performance drivers identify trends and communicate insights that support strategic decision-making.
Perform detailed variance analysis and develop reporting that improves visibility into business performance.
Budgeting Forecasting & Planning
Support the annual budgeting process and monthly forecasting cycles.
Analyze financial results market trends and business activity to assess impacts on future performance.
Communicate forecast changes and financial risks to Finance and line-of-business leadership.
Accounting & Financial Close
Support month-end and quarter-end financial close processes.
Partner with Accounting Policy SEC Reporting Regulatory Reporting and Corporate Finance teams to ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance with accounting standards.
Analyze accounting impacts of new business initiatives transactions and evolving accounting guidance.
Assist with financial disclosures and reporting requirements supporting SEC filings Earnings Call & Board materials regulatory submissions and other external reporting needs.
Strategic & Business Advisory Support
Collaborate with business leaders to support strategic planning and financial initiatives.
Assist in evaluating growth opportunities business investments and financial impacts of key decisions.
Serve as a trusted finance partner by providing analytical support and actionable insights.
Regulatory & Stress Testing Activities
Support CCAR stress testing activities and related financial analyses.
Partner with key Finance stakeholders to evaluate and challenge forecast assumptions and stress-testing results.
Contribute to regulatory capital planning and risk management deliverables.
Process Improvement & Special Projects
Drive continuous improvement efforts focused on reporting efficiency controls and data quality.
Support technology initiatives process automation business integrations and enterprise-wide Finance projects.
Respond to ad hoc analyses and executive requests while participating in cross-functional initiatives involving Finance Technology Legal M&A Risk Compliance and Audit teams.

- Designs and prepares timely transparent and succinct financial reports to enable informed decision-making by stakeholders. Collaborates with business unit leaders to produce timely and precise revenue expense and staffing forecasts. Develops strategic insights from data to enhance budget and forecast accuracy.
- Collaborates with managers on and may lead annual budget cycle and continuous monthly forecasting. Contributes to and may lead development of long term strategic plans. Provides and presents business leaders and executives with key financial forecasts metric-driven performance dashboards and strategic business insights.
- Performs on-demand analysis and generates custom reports to address specific business needs. Collaborates independently with the business on implementation and compliance of new accounting and regulatory standards.
- Facilitates audit regulatory and investor requests by providing timely and accurate information. Promptly identifies and addresses control matters; maintains sound control processes. May also contribute to risk review and challenge for assigned business.
