About the Opportunity

A global fast-growing organization in the travel and aviation services sector is seeking a Senior Manager Finance to lead its centralized finance function. This role is responsible for overseeing accounting operations financial planning reporting and compliance across multiple international entities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage day-to-day accounting operations ensuring accuracy compliance and timely reporting

  • Oversee general ledger activities including reconciliations (bank intercompany and subledger)

  • Prepare and present monthly financial reporting packages with actionable insights for leadership

  • Drive budgeting and forecasting processes in collaboration with cross-functional stakeholders

  • Coordinate and manage year-end audits across global entities

  • Establish and enhance financial controls policies and procedures to support strong governance

  • Monitor financial performance and develop dashboards and management reporting tools (MIS)

  • Oversee tax planning and compliance across multiple jurisdictions

  • Support procurement oversight and cost optimization initiatives

Additional Responsibilities (HR & Payroll Support U.S. & Canada)
  • Administer payroll processes including reviews adjustments and compliance checks

  • Support employee onboarding and offboarding processes (including benefits and documentation)

  • Maintain employee records and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations

  • Coordinate benefits administration (healthcare retirement plans PTO tracking)

  • Provide employee support on payroll benefits and policy-related inquiries

  • Ensure compliance with employment laws and reporting requirements


Qualifications
  • Bachelors degree in Finance Accounting or related field (CPA/CA or equivalent strongly preferred)

  • 8 years of progressive finance/accounting experience including 3 years in a leadership role

  • Strong expertise in financial reporting audits and global subsidiary operations

  • Experience managing multi-entity or international finance functions

  • Advanced analytical problem-solving and communication skills

  • Proficiency with financial systems ERP platforms and reporting tools


Preferred Experience
  • Background in the aviation airline or travel-related industries is a plus
