Job Summary: Join Pratt & Whitneys Columbus Forge team as a Final Inspector where youll serve as the final quality checkpoint before aerospace components are released. Youll verify inspection records and quality documentation in SAP ensure all required inspections have been completed and work closely with Manufacturing Engineering and Quality teams to ensure products meet the highest standards.

This is a Weekend Night Shift position: Friday Sunday 6:30 PM 6:30 AM

What You Will Do:

Perform final inspections of forged aerospace components by verifying inspection results engineering requirements and product documentation before final release
Review inspection codes and quality records in SAP to ensure all required inspections and operations have been completed
Identify document and communicate product or process nonconformances while partnering with Engineering and Manufacturing to resolve quality issues
Create and close inspection lots complete inspection documentation and authorize final product acceptance
Support production by monitoring work-in-process communicating inspection priorities and maintaining required certifications including Pratt & Whitney Final Inspection Certification

Qualifications You Must Have

HS Diploma or GED

Qualifications We Prefer

1 years experience in a quality inspection or manufacturing environment.
Experience interpreting engineering drawings specifications and quality documentation.
Experience using Microsoft Office applications and quality systems including SAP and Solumina
Strong attention to detail problem-solving and communication skills.

Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance workers as they are essential to the development of our engines.

Candidates will learn more about role type and current site status throughout the recruiting process. For onsite and hybrid roles commuting to and from the assigned site is the employees personal responsibility.
