Whats your day like

As the Fill Plant Supervisor at HME Specialists in Albuquerque you will play a crucial role in maintaining the highest standards of safety and compliance. Your responsibilities will include ensuring strict adherence to FDA DOT OSHA and company regulations regarding the filling of medical oxygen cylinders. You will oversee the review and approval of all documentation related to the production of compressed and liquefied oxygen as well as conducting routine equipment maintenance and training for the fill plant addition you will lead weekly safety meetings to promote a culture of safety and compliance among fill plant personnel.

Your supervision of the Fill Plant Division Staff will be instrumental in upholding these standards and ensuring the smooth operation of our facility.

Experience with Liquid Oxygen Fill Plant operations is a must for this role.

Knowledge and skills required for the position are:

  • Oversee and Supervise the Fill Plant Division.
  • Train all personnel on the safe use of all oxygen filling equipment initially and annually.
  • Ensure that all FDA and DOT requirements are met on a daily basis.
  • Perform audits on fill plant personnel to ensure compliance with all regulatory agencies.
  • Review and release all documentation involved in the filling of medical oxygen.
  • Reject any component that does not met the requirements of FDA
  • DOT and HME filling procedures.
  • Promote safe effective and organized environments.
  • Participate in on-going education including in-services training and other activities to maintain and improve individual competence.
  • Audit all paperwork completed by Cylinder Fillers and Patient Service Technicians on a daily basis.
  • Conduct morning safety tailgate meetings with all fillers and liquid delivery personnel daily.
  • Listen to and resolve service complaints appropriate to scope of practice
  • Ensure that routine maintenance is performed on all filling equipment
  • Complete required annual and monthly training courses.
  • Perform other duties or special projects when necessary.
