The Company designs develops constructs and operates biogas powered renewable energy generation systems on dairy farms. Our projects include anaerobic digesters biogas-powered electric generation and renewable compressed natural gas Description:The Facility Operator will ensure the RNG Facility and all equipment related to biogas handling upgrading clean up and combustion is operating properly. The operator will be expected to perform routine maintenance repair equipment as necessary and troubleshoot issues as they arise while coordinating with co-workers and business partners as needed. Equipment to be operated and serviced will most commonly include PLCs data loggers biogas blowers reciprocating and screw compressors 3-phase motors and electrical wiring.. Applicants should have experience with a variety of mechanical and electrical equipment and enjoy troubleshooting issues within industrial facilities. Excellent communication skills (verbal phone email and text) are needed to work in this team-based distributed support :Oversee on-site operations ensuring that all equipment and systems are operating as designed while maximizing facility up-timeAbility to prioritize tasksTroubleshoot issues on-site or remotely as they ariseMaintain spare parts inventoryCoordinate repair work and perform maintenance checklistsCommunicate via email text and phone with team members clients and business partners as necessaryUtilization of maintenance tracking softwareSupport team members and prioritize reactive and preventative maintenanceMaintain a safe working environment and comply with safety proceduresQualifications & Skills:RequiredAbility to work in field unsupervisedGeneral mechanical and electrical experience (2 years preferred)Analog and Discrete I/O Calibration and troubleshootingVFDs24 VDC 480 VAC electricalExperience with large horsepower rotating equipmentAbility to and desire to learn new equipment software and electronic interfacesAnalytical/Critical thinker ability to diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical systemsSelf-starterQuick learnerAbility to read and interpret P&IDs & blueprintsWelding & FabricationKnowledge of drive train alignment proceduresRigging and lifting proceduresProficient in English; Spanish helpful but not requiredValid U.S. drivers licenseComfortable working outdoors in varied weather conditions and around livestock/agricultural environmentsPreferredFamiliarization with laboratory procedures & testingGeneral understanding of dairy farm manure handling practicesUnderstanding of SCADA systems and PLC logicHVAC experienceDairy digester experienceOther Duties:Please note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive list of activities duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job. Constant movement and use of limbs; this position requires good manual dexterity coordination and stamina.
