Field Technician Camera Low Voltage & Access Control

Position Summary

525 Technologies is seeking a skilled and reliable Field Technician to support camera installations low-voltage cabling and access control systems for school systems. This role requires hands-on technical experience the ability to work with minimal supervision and a strong commitment to professionalism when representing our company on customer sites.

Key Responsibilities

Install configure and service:
- Security cameras (IP and related hardware)
- Low-voltage cabling and infrastructure
- Access control systems
Perform on-site work at schools and educational facilities
Read and follow installation plans diagrams and scope documents
Troubleshoot and resolve installation or connectivity issues
Communicate clearly and professionally with school staff and administrators
Maintain a clean safe and organized work environment
Represent 525 Technologies in a professional and respectful manner at all times
Document work performed and report job status as required

Required Qualifications

Prior experience with camera installations low-voltage work or access control systems
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
Reliable transportation and valid drivers license
Ability to work on ladders lifts and in ceiling spaces as required
Professional demeanor when working in school environments

Preferred Qualifications

Experience working in schools colleges or public-sector facilities
Familiarity with structured cabling standards
Access control or security system certifications (a plus not required)
Basic networking knowledge (IP addressing PoE switches)

Compensation: $17.00 - $23.00 per hour
