Position Summary
525 Technologies is seeking a skilled and reliable Field Technician to support camera installations low-voltage cabling and access control systems for school systems. This role requires hands-on technical experience the ability to work with minimal supervision and a strong commitment to professionalism when representing our company on customer sites.
Key Responsibilities
- Install configure and service:
- Security cameras (IP and related hardware)
- Low-voltage cabling and infrastructure
- Access control systems
- Security cameras (IP and related hardware)
- Perform on-site work at schools and educational facilities
- Read and follow installation plans diagrams and scope documents
- Troubleshoot and resolve installation or connectivity issues
- Communicate clearly and professionally with school staff and administrators
- Maintain a clean safe and organized work environment
- Represent 525 Technologies in a professional and respectful manner at all times
- Document work performed and report job status as required
Required Qualifications
- Prior experience with camera installations low-voltage work or access control systems
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Reliable transportation and valid drivers license
- Ability to work on ladders lifts and in ceiling spaces as required
- Professional demeanor when working in school environments
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working in schools colleges or public-sector facilities
- Familiarity with structured cabling standards
- Access control or security system certifications (a plus not required)
- Basic networking knowledge (IP addressing PoE switches)

Compensation: $17.00 - $23.00 per hour
