Position Summary

We are seeking a Field Technician with 1-3 years of experience to support geotechnical and instrumentation field projects. The role involves fieldwork equipment management site monitoring and accurate documentation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform instrumentation installations inspections maintenance and removals for construction projects.
• Conduct field surveys as needed.
• Record site observations through detailed field notes daily reports photos and logs.
• Manage track and maintain field equipment inventory to ensure operational readiness.
• Coordinate with Instrumentation Engineers and Project Managers for timely deployment of field equipment.
• Configure and update equipment using appropriate software tools; upload and organize data.
• Work with multiple clients contracts and projects at the same time
• Be able to work independently as well as part of a team
• Interact and communicate with clients vendors and staff at all levels
• Ability to travel to multiple project locations as needed

Qualifications:

• Associates or Bachelors in engineering or construction related field preferred.
• 1-3 years experience in construction or geotechnical field preferred.
• Ability to maintain and operate personal and/or company vehicle.
• Proficient in the use of Microsoft Software including Word Excel and Outlook.
• Strong oral and written communication skills and ability to Interact with client representatives
• Basic computer programming and data management skills
• Valid Drivers license
• Able to stand climb and walk continuously during an 8-hour period in a varying climate (hot and cold etc.)
• Ability to bend kneel twist and reach.
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 50lbs.
• Ability to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) including hard hats safety glasses vests and steel-toed boots for prolonged periods.
