• Solid understanding of millwork construction methods and job site conditions
• Able to work independently in the field while staying connected to the office team
• Strong organizational skills able to manage multiple upcoming surveys at once

Position Focus

• Conduct field surveys at job sites capturing measurements conditions and deviations from approved shop drawings accurately and completely
• Serve as eyes and ears on site for Project Management and Engineering teams communicating field conditions clearly and promptly
• Coordinate with GC Superintendents on site to discuss deviations clarify conditions verify hold-to measurements and relay communications to the Project Manager
• Join the daily Engineering call to ensure field-related information reaches the Engineering Manager and team promptly
• Prepare for upcoming surveys in the office reviewing schedules curating current shop drawings meeting with Project Managers and Engineers and optimizing the survey schedule for efficiency
• Debrief recently completed field conditions with the relevant Project Manager and Engineering Manager to ensure information is captured and acted on
