Field Service Technician

OVERVIEW:

• TheField Service Engineerisberesponsibleforprovidingtechnical service support forComecerequipmenttoourNorth American (NA) .

• Willhelpdrive the sales ofComecerAfter Sales Servicemaintenanceagreements serviceinterventions service upgradesdisposablekits andspareparts.

• Will participate and support the SAT IQ/OQ and PQ activities for newinstallations

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

FieldService:

• Troubleshoot repair andmaintainthe industrial equipment manufactured by theComecerGroup at customer sites in the United States and Canada.

• Provideremotetechnical support by telephone and online (Help Desk level 1 & 2) forcustomers

• Utilize internal FUSION software to create and track machine issues using service tickets.

• Execute serviceat customer sitesbased on instructions received by the ServicePlanner. Create work reportsandother service documentation and update internal records using FUSION.

• Diagnose and address equipment problemsin a timely manner. Clearlyexplainto the customers satisfaction the diagnosis and repair of the machine. Address difficult customer situations in a professional manner.

• Serve as a support engineer to customers formechanical and electricalissues provided withComecerequipment and systems.

• Perform preventive maintenance activities including filter replacementcalibrations leak test etc. onComecerequipment and systems.

Commercial:

• Ship and receive customer orders stock shipments and installation equipment.

• Order and track spare parts and consumables inventory. Proactively adjust stock to effectively handle future customer needs and ensure availability of critical stock.

• Organize the archive of user manuals recommended spare parts lists and technical documentation related to the equipment installed in the United States and Canada.

• Seek out andassistinnegotiatingmaintenance packages including service contracts and spare parts sets.

• Establish andmaintainpositive working relationships with colleagues vendors and customers. Seek opportunities to expand network and promoteComecerand ATS brands.
• Continuallyseektechnical and product training.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• At least a five-year Industrial Technical diploma with Mechanical / Electrical emphasis or equivalent work experience.

• Ability toperform analysisdebug and perform adjustments toComecerequipmentand systems.

• Experience troubleshooting electrical and mechanical faults on industrial equipment usingappropriate instrumentationand controls interfaces.

• Anexcellentunderstandingofpneumatichydraulicelectricalandmechanicalcomponentsalongwith theabilitytoreaddrawingsisessential.

• Experience withtroubleshootingautomationsystems.

• Must beableto workin amulti-disciplinedenvironmentoftenunder pressure andstricttimeconstants. Experience indealingwith customers to resolveproblemsisrequired.

• Drivencontinuousimprovementmentalityandexperiencewithconductingproblem-solvingexercises root causeanalysisand successimplementationofinitiatives.

• Requiresexcellentinterpersonalandcommunicationskills withfluencyin Englishbothwrittenandoral

• Possessesexcellenttime-management skills.

• Resilientabilitytoremaincalmunder pressure self-driven attentive todetailconsistent andprocessdriven.

• Proficientwith Microsoft software toolsincludingWord Excel and Power Point Outlook etc.
