Field Service Technician

Location: Remote (Home Office) - Minneapolis MN
Residence Requirement: Must live within 45 minutes of Minneapolis-Saint Paul International Airport (MSP).

Salary: $50000-$85000 DOE

Responsible for installation startup troubleshooting repair maintenance commissioning and customer training on industrial equipment throughout North America. This is a dedicated Field Service Technician position. The technician will work from a home office and travel extensively to customer facilities.

• Install commission troubleshoot and repair customer equipment.
• Perform preventive maintenance and emergency service.
• Read mechanical drawings electrical schematics and equipment manuals.
• Provide operator and maintenance training.
• Complete detailed service reports and documentation.
• Work closely with Engineering Sales and Service.
• Maintain excellent customer relationships.
• Follow all company safety and travel procedures.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Technical school military technical training or equivalent experience.
• 1-5 years of industrial field service experience.
• Strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting.
• Ability to travel approximately 95%.
• Valid drivers license and passport eligibility.
• Ability to lift 75 lbs.
• Must reside within 45 minutes of MSP Airport.

• Machine tool fabrication or industrial machinery experience.
• Experience training customers.
• 3D CAD familiarity.
• Spanish French or German a plus.
