Field Service Technician
Location: Remote (Home Office) - Minneapolis MN
Residence Requirement: Must live within 45 minutes of Minneapolis-Saint Paul International Airport (MSP).

Employment: Full-Time Non-Exempt
Salary: $50000-$85000 DOE
Responsible for installation startup troubleshooting repair maintenance commissioning and customer training on industrial equipment throughout North America. This is a dedicated Field Service Technician position. The technician will work from a home office and travel extensively to customer facilities.
- Install commission troubleshoot and repair customer equipment.
- Perform preventive maintenance and emergency service.
- Read mechanical drawings electrical schematics and equipment manuals.
- Provide operator and maintenance training.
- Complete detailed service reports and documentation.
- Work closely with Engineering Sales and Service.
- Maintain excellent customer relationships.
- Follow all company safety and travel procedures.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Technical school military technical training or equivalent experience.
- 1-5 years of industrial field service experience.
- Strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting.
- Ability to travel approximately 95%.
- Valid drivers license and passport eligibility.
- Ability to lift 75 lbs.
- Must reside within 45 minutes of MSP Airport.
- Machine tool fabrication or industrial machinery experience.
- Experience training customers.
- 3D CAD familiarity.
- Spanish French or German a plus.
