We are seeking a highly motivated Field Service Technician to join our team. We are a veteran-friendly organization and strongly encourage military veterans to apply. You will work independently from your home base providing expert support for advanced CNC Lathes and Machining Centers. This is a hands-on role where you will be the go-to technical expert for our customers.

What Youll Do

• Troubleshoot & Repair: Diagnose and resolve mechanical electrical software and hydraulic/pneumatic issues on CNC machinery.
• Install & Test: Perform post-installation testing to ensure optimal machine performance.
• Train & Educate: Conduct on-site training for customer operators on machine function maintenance and safety.
• Document: Accurately log service activity diagnostics parts and resolutions.
• Travel: Manage a regional travel schedule with regular overnight stays to support customer sites.

What You Need

• Education: 2-year technical degree (mechanical electrical or machine tool technology) or equivalent military technical experience or demonstrated experience in the maintenance field.
• Experience: Proven ability to troubleshoot industrial equipment; proficiency with PLCs is a plus.
• Skills: Ability to read engineering drawings/schematics; skilled in using diagnostic tools (gauges test indicators force meters).
• Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly.
• Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving interpersonal and communication skills; capable of working independently.
