Pratt & Whitney isseeking aField Service EngineerTeam Leadto join theOperational CommercialEngines CustomerTechnical Services team supporting theglobal PW2000 andPW4000 engine this role you will leadthe resolution ofcomplex technical issuesrelated to hotsection and controlshardware while partneringwith customers Maintenance Repair and Overhaul facilities andcross-functional engineeringteams. Your workwill directly contributeto engine safety fleet reliability operationalperformance and reducedmaintenance burden forour customers byimproving key metricssuch as dispatchreliability in-flightshutdown rates unscheduledengine removals andshop turnaround time.

What You Will Do:

  • Lead and developa team ofCustomer Technical Servicesengineersby prioritizing customerrequests removing roadblocks mentoring and developingtalent supporting resourceplanning and drivingtechnical issues totimely resolution.
  • Serve as theprimary technical advisorfor global airline customers Maintenance Repair andOverhaul facilities and Pratt & WhitneyField Service Representatives providing expertguidance on hotsection and controlssystems operational troubleshooting engine manual interpretation service bulletin implementation and urgent Aircraft-On-Ground events to ensuresafe and reliableengine operation.
  • Partner across Pratt& Whitney engineering andprogram organizationsincluding Component Integrated Product Teams ProductSafety Certification &Validation Aftermarket& Sustainment Engineering Fleet ManagementPrograms ChiefEngineers Performance Analysis and airframemanufacturersto resolvetechnical issues monitorfleet health implementengineering changes andenhance customer satisfaction.
  • Develop authorize andcommunicate engineeringauthorizations (EAs) maintenancedocumentation and customertechnical communicationssupporting engine inspection overhaul and operationalguidance.
  • Represent Pratt & Whitneyin customer-facingengagementsby leading technicaldiscussions during airlinemeetings conferencescustomer councils andoperational reviews whileevaluating fleet andengine data toprovide troubleshootingrecommendations and continue-in-service guidance.
  • Support global fleetoperationsby ensuring technicalprocedures and maintenanceguidance are available providing rapid supportto airline andMaintenance Repair andOverhaul customers tominimize operational disruptionsand maintenance delays.
  • Schedule: Support on-call schedule for urgent customer and operational issues ensuring timely response during occasional nights weekends and holidays.
  • Travel Requirement: Up to 10% Domestic and International.

Qualifications You Must Have:

  • A Bachelors degree in Engineering and 10 years of prior relevant experience or an Advanced degree and 7 years of prior relevant experience. Relevant experience: Supporting aerospace systems turbineengine hardware or enginecomponent systems inan operational environment; demonstrated success intechnical troubleshooting customer support cross-functional engineeringcollaboration and leadingtechnical teams orprojects to resolution.

Qualifications We Prefer:

  • Working knowledge ofgas turbinecontrol systems and hot section hardware including hubs airfoils seals cases andengine control systemssuch as pumpsand heat exchangers.
  • Experience supporting Pratt& Whitney commercial engines with knowledge ofthe PW2000 and/or PW4000 enginefamilies preferred.
  • Strong verbal andwritten communication skillswith the abilityto communicate complextechnical information clearlyand effectively tocustomers MROs andcross-functional teams.
  • Demonstrated ability tobuild strong customerrelationships while deliveringtimely technically soundsolutions in afast-paced operationalenvironment.
  • Experience leading technicalteams mentoring engineers or coordinating cross-functional engineeringefforts.

The salary range for this role is 132400 USD - 251600 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer including but not limited to the role function and associated responsibilities a candidates work experience location education/training and key skills.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including but not limited to individual performance business unit performance and/or the companys performance.

This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
