We are recruiting a Field Service Engineer to support a growing installed base of industrial manufacturing equipment across North America. This position is ideal for a mechanically and electrically inclined professional who enjoys hands-on troubleshooting travel customer interaction and highly automated production equipment. The successful candidate serves as the technical representative in the field performing installations commissioning maintenance repairs and troubleshooting at customer facilities.
Responsibilities
Travel to customer facilities throughout the United States and Canada
Perform preventative maintenance on industrial equipment
Troubleshoot electrical mechanical and automation-related issues; diagnose faults and identify root causes
Perform repairs and corrective maintenance activities; provide on-site technical support
Assist with equipment startups and commissioning; verify performance and operational readiness
Support customer acceptance testing and ensure installations meet company standards
Serve as the primary technical representative at customer locations and build strong customer relationships
Participate in equipment testing and machine trials; document service activities and technical findings
Qualifications
Degree in Electrical Engineering Mechatronics Electromechanical Engineering or related field preferred; equivalent hands-on industrial experience also considered
Strong electromechanical troubleshooting skills; experience with industrial machinery or automation systems
Ability to diagnose both electrical and mechanical issues independently
Strong customer-facing communication skills
Ability and willingness to travel 60-80% of the time
Able to attend initial onboarding and training program in Georgia
Valid passport or ability to travel throughout Canada and the United States
Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship
Preferred
PLC troubleshooting or programming experience (Allen-Bradley Siemens Mitsubishi or similar)
Automation capital equipment or manufacturing experience
Packaging plastics or processing industry experience
Equipment commissioning experience
Bilingual English/Spanish or English/French
