Field Service Engineer - Electromechanical & PLC Controls
Location: Southeast Region (OK AR TX TN LA MS AL GA FL NC SC)

Join Honeywell Intelligrated a global leader in warehouse automation and material handling solutions. Were seeking a skilledField Service Engineerto provide top-tier support to our customers distribution centers. Youll travel extensively (up to 95%) to install maintain and troubleshoot a variety of electromechanical systems including conveyors robotic applications sortation systems palletizers and PLC controls.



Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install service and troubleshoot electromechanical systems and PLC-based equipment (Allen Bradley Modicon etc.)
  • Provide on-site customer support including emergency service calls maintenance and equipment upgrades.
  • Use your expertise to program modify and debug PLC code and robotic applications.
  • Train and mentor field service technicians on equipment and controls.
  • Develop and submit detailed service reports including program updates and drawings.
  • Work independently and with teams to complete projects efficiently and on time.

YOU MUST HAVE

  • 3 years of expert-level PLC programming skills (Allen Bradley and other PLC systems).
  • 3 years of strong mechanical electrical and troubleshooting skills.
  • 3 years of electro-mechanical field service experience.
  • 3 years of MS Office products and Operating Systems (i.e. Windows XP).
  • Valid Drivers license.
  • Reliable transportation to a major airport (Must be within a One Hour commute of nearest airport).
  • Willingness to travel 95% of the time throughout the Southeast United States

WE VALUE

  • Technical degree and/or certifications in industrial maintenance electrical electronics or similar.
  • Honeywell Intelligrated material handling equipment maintenance experience.
  • Excellent communication problem-solving and customer service abilities.
