Reporting to the Regional Service Manager the Field Service Technicianis responsible forproviding frontline technical service and support to customers while delivering a consistentlyhigh levelof customer satisfaction. This is a homebased role supporting customers throughout theGreaterHouston TX area with regional travel.
In this role a typical day will look like:
Installmaintain troubleshoot and repair Videojet coding and marking equipment at customer facilities
Travel throughout the greater Houston territory to support manufacturing customers with most work completed during the day and limited overnight travel
Diagnose mechanical electrical and softwarerelated issues and deliver effectivetimelysolutions
Build strong trusted relationships with customers by acting as a technical advisor and problem solver
Support business growth byidentifyingopportunities to promote service agreements and newer technology solutions
Travel is primarily regional within the Houston area and isplanned in advanceto allow flexibility in managing schedules routes and customer visits. Overnight travel is occasional and not routine.
The essential requirements of the job include:
Willingness to travel within the assigned territory including occasional overnight travel
Up to two years of technical mechanical electrical or field service experience
Basic computer and technicalproficiency(email mobile applications Microsoft Word)
Ability tocomply withcustomer safety requirements PPE standards and site access policies
Valid drivers license with the ability to safelyoperatea company vehicle

The below range reflects the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future. An associates position within the salary range will be based on several factors including but not limited to relevant education qualifications certifications experience skills seniority geographic location performance shift travel requirements sales or revenue-based metrics any collective bargaining agreements and business or organizational needs.
The compensation range for this role is $28.00 - $30.00 USD per job is also eligible for Incentive Pay.We offer a comprehensive package of benefits including paid time off medical/dental/vision insurance and 401(k) to eligible employees.
