If you are a Staff Field Service Engineer professional looking for an opportunity to grow your career Emerson has an exciting opportunity for this role you will provide advanced technical support to customers deliver proactive and corrective maintenance services and partner closely with internal teams to drive successful deployment and performance of complex systems. You will play a key role in building strong customer relationships resolving technical challenges improving service processes and contributing to continuous product and service enhancements. This position offers the opportunity to work independently collaborate across functions and make a meaningful impact on customer success while supporting innovation and operational excellence.

In This Role Your Responsibilities Will Be:

  • Deliver advanced customer support troubleshooting and maintenance services to ensure optimal system performance and customer satisfaction.
  • Serve as the primary technical resource for complex issues escalations and service agreement customers driving timely resolution and effective communication.
  • Partner with customers and cross-functional teams to support system deployment production objectives technical training and ongoing operational success.
  • Provide actionable feedback to engineering and development teams to support continuous improvement of products services and customer experiences.
  • Analyze technical challenges implement solutions and improve processes and best practices that increase efficiency and service quality.
  • Manage multiple priorities independently while maintaining high standards of professionalism collaboration and customer focus.
  • Continuously expand technical knowledge and support customer needs through on-site service activities and travel of up to 75%

For This Role You Will Need:

  • Bachelors degree in a STEM-related field or equivalent combination of education technical training and relevant experience.
  • Minimum of 2 years of related experience is required

  • Experience supporting technical products systems equipment or engineering solutions in a customer-facing environment.
  • Ability to apply engineering principles technical knowledge and established methodologies to solve moderately complex challenges.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to evaluate information and make sound decisions.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with customers team members and stakeholders at various levels of the organization.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain productive working relationships.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Ability to work independently with limited supervision while knowing when to seek guidance or escalate issues.
  • Commitment to continuous learning professional development and process improvement.
  • Willingness and ability to travel up to 75% to customer locations.

Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart:

  • Masters degree in a STEM-related field.
  • Experience supporting automated test measurement industrial automation or other complex technical systems.
  • Knowledge of National Instruments (NI) products platforms software or related technologies.
  • Experience performing preventive predictive or corrective maintenance in a customer environment.
  • Experience delivering technical training product demonstrations or customer onboarding support.
  • Familiarity with root cause analysis troubleshooting methodologies and technical escalation management.
  • Experience developing or improving service processes procedures or operational best practices.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate across engineering service product development and customer-facing teams.
