ITW Commercial Construction North America (CCNA) a division of ITW includes trusted brands like Buildex (Teks Sammys) Red Head (TruBolt Tapcon) Ramset (Trakfast) and PNA serving professional contractors since 1910. We design and manufacture innovative fastening and concrete flatwork solutions for concrete drywall metal buildings fire protection plumbing electrical and HVAC applications.

The Technical Sales Engineer (Field Sales Engineer) will report to the Senior Field Sales Engineer. This position will be responsible for the advancement acceptance and support of PNA solutions to technical stakeholders in the market.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Developsprofessional relationships with key architectural & engineering firms in PNA targeted markets utilizing engineering expertise to drive and influence product specification.
  • Develops recommends and implements A&E specification programs at an effective level across the targeted markets for maximum benefit to PNA
  • Serves as PNAs go-to technical resource for architects and engineers
  • Providestechnical support to the selling team through interpretation of internal and external engineering reports building codes and the demonstration of design equivalency in support of key project opportunities
  • Createsmarketable collateral and tools to educate inform and influence stakeholders
  • Builds and manages relationships with select National Account owner/occupiers
  • Measures and monitors the effectiveness of all programs implemented
  • Proactively provides feedback and recommendations to manager and other PNA functions such as Marketing and Engineering and collaborates with these functions to coordinate specification selling plans
  • Feed Innovation pipeline with Voice of Customer insights
  • Recognizes trends to draws conclusionsand effectively drive changes to positively impact specification conversions
  • Additional responsibilities as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degreein Structural or Civil Engineering required; Professional Engineer preferred
  • 4years of technical selling experiencehighlypreferred
  • Demonstrated experience with Concrete Flatwork in design specification and construction practices preferred
  • Strong communication skills both written and verbal
  • Ability to read construction prints and analyze project specifications
  • Ability to understand decision-making process and influence multiple decision makers in the sales process
  • Results driven with ability to manage multiple priorities and highly effective follow through skills
  • Strong presentation skills
  • Proficient in PPT. Experience with CRM tools such as D365 Sales or preferred
  • Willingness to travel (approx. 50%)

Compensation Information:

The pay range for this position is $100000 to $110000. This position is eligible to participate in an annual incentive plan.
