Were seeking a dynamic Field Operations Coordinator to manage daily crew scheduling and support field operations for our Livermore CA location. This role supports multiple crews working in erosion control street sweeping and dewatering operations.
The ideal candidate is organized dependable and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with frequent communication between field crews customers office staff and bilingual in Spanish.
Key Responsibilities Include but are not limited to:
- Schedule and coordinate daily work for multiple field crews.
- Take and update scheduling requests from clients and project managers.
- Communicate daily assignments and changes to field crews.
- Track crew locations job progress and completion updates.
- Help coordinate equipment materials and basic job needs.
- Keep schedules updated throughout the day as changes occur.
- Support basic reporting (job completion notes attendance logs)
- Manage material erosion BMP and dewatering inventorytrack levels regularly and order as needed to maintain service minimums.
- Oversee tools equipment and fleet readiness including small tools trenchers pumps hoses and vehicles.
- Support daily operations by adjusting schedules maintaining logs (attendance post-con) participating in meetings and providing consistent customer service.
What were looking for:
- High school diploma or GED.
- Valid drivers license with an acceptable driving record and reliable transportation.
- Strong communication and organizational skills in both English & Spanish.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Comfortable working with both field crews and office staff.
- Ability to perform manual labor.
- Comfortable using pickup trucks and equipment trailers.
- Understanding of safe work practices in accordance with OSHA standards.
- Knowledge of sediment and erosion control.
Preferred Qualifications
- 1 year of experience in scheduling dispatching construction or field operations.
- 12 years of construction experience including stormwater infrastructure concrete piping and detention/retention basins.
- OSHA HAZWOPER certification.
- Safeland training.
- General carpentry and plumbing experience.
