Overview:

Were seeking a Field Installation Manager to oversee commercial door and gate installation and service operations throughout the Greater Sacramento area.

This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for troubleshooting field issues supporting technicians coordinating installation crews preparing estimates sourcing materials and ensuring projects are completed safely efficiently and to customer expectations. The ideal candidate brings strong commercial door and gate service experience and thrives in a fast-paced field operations environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee daily field operations across multiple active installation and service projects.

Troubleshoot field issues and provide technical support to technicians and crews.

Prepare service estimates and evaluate project requirements.

Coordinate scheduling and deployment of installation and service teams.

Source materials parts and equipment required for projects.

Monitor project timelines quality standards and customer satisfaction.

Communicate effectively with customers vendors technicians and internal teams.

Ensure compliance with safety regulations ADA requirements and industry standards.

Support operational improvements and field efficiency initiatives.

Partner closely with leadership during onboarding and training.

Assist with after-hours support when necessary.

Requirements:

5 years of experience in commercial door and gate installation or service operations.

Strong troubleshooting and field diagnostics experience.

Experience managing multiple projects crews and customer priorities simultaneously.

Experience preparing estimates and coordinating service work.

Knowledge of commercial door and gate systems.

Strong organizational and communication skills.

Ability to work independently and make field-based decisions.

Customer-focused mindset with strong problem-solving abilities.

All education levels considered.

Experience with automatic doors.

Experience with storefront doors.

Experience with hollow metal doors.

Experience with solid core and wood doors.

Experience with overhead doors.

Experience with dock equipment.

Experience with gates and gate operators.

Previous leadership or supervisory experience.

Knowledge of ADA fire code and safety compliance standards.

Willingness to relocate to the Sacramento area.
