Position Description: The Field Engineer Assigned to a field operations team to assist in obtainingevaluating and coordinating information needed to construct the project inaccordance with contract documents and to assure work meets all safetystandards is within schedule requirements and is constructed to the highestlevel of quality possible. Reports To: Project Superintendent or Superintendent
EssentialDuties & Responsibilities:
-Perform line and grade work for buildinglayout and control as required.
-Assist in implementation of site safety program as required.
-Ensure subcontractor compliance with Turner safety standards and applicablesafety codes and regulations.
-Assist in maintenance of contract documents and electronic web-based documentsfor field operations.
-Assist in preparation of Daily Construction Reports (DCRs).
-Review work as it is being placed to be sure it is accurate within acceptedtolerances.
-Review contract drawings specifications and shop drawings to ensure propercoordination and installation.
-Assist in preparation of project as-builts.
-Assist in protection and promotion of interests of Turner and in relatedmatters.
-Other activities duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Position Description: The Engineering Assistant is involved in the engineering and administrationof projects in the Special Projects Division (SPD) or in other Business Unitdepartments. Reports To: Project Engineer or Engineer
EssentialDuties & Responsibilities:
-Assist in obtaining and reviewing informationand approvals for processing of shop drawings product data and samples and assistin communication of information across all levels of project team.
-Assist in managing other aspects of communication including submission andresponses for Requests for Information (RFIs).
-Assist in preparing estimates for changes in work including review of ChangeOrder requests from subcontractors.
-Study contract drawings specifications and shop drawings to ensure propercoordination and installation.
-Assist in maintenance and updates of contract documents electronic web-baseddocuments and project logs.
-Distribute information required for construction to appropriate parties.
-Assist Engineering to ensure materials and equipment are released forfabrication or manufacture in time to meet construction schedule.
-Assist in preparation of final records for project including close-outdocuments Operations/Maintenance (OM) Manuals and other relateddocumentation.
-Other activities duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Note:Depending on business need and location you may be assigned to work at anactive construction project site in one of our many specialties or in adepartment located at the main office.

The salaryrange for this position is estimated to be $75000.00 - $85000.00 USDannualized.

Qualifications:
-Two years of college education from accredited degree program in Engineering Construction or relevant education
-Building construction engineering or equivalent experience preferred
-Must have good interpersonal skills and ability to work within a team
-Demonstrate initiative and desire to learn
-Ability to communicate well both verbally and in writing
-Proficient with computer applications data entry and Microsoft suite of applications
-Basic understanding of scheduling programs desired.
