Position Summary
As a Field Engineeryoullplay a key role in managing and supporting operations in the closely with project engineers superintendents andforemento ensure every project is built safely accurately and efficiently from concept to completion. This is an exciting opportunity for those who want to grow into leadership roles while learning the ins and outs of heavy civil construction.
WhatYoullDo
- Work alongside superintendents andforemento plan track and execute field activities according to design and specifications.
- Perform and verify quantity takeoffs cost reporting and materials tracking.
- Coordinate with subcontractors vendors and suppliers to ensure project schedules and budgets stay on track.
- Participate in work planning project documentation and progress meetings.
- Implement andmonitorquality assurance and quality control processes to ensure construction meets or exceeds standards.
- Identifyand help resolve field challenges quickly through teamwork and creative problem-solving.
- Support change order management cost reporting and close-out documentation.
- Promote and uphold Zachrys culture of safety ensuring every person goes homesafeevery day.

WhatWereLooking For
- Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering Construction Management or related discipline (preferred).
- 1 years of experience in heavy highway road or bridge construction (internship or field experiencea plus).
- Experience with projects $10M preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
- Strong leadership communication and analytical skills.
- Proficiencyin Microsoft Office and familiarity with construction software tools such as Bluebeam and AutoCAD.
- A proactive detail-oriented mindset and commitment to teamwork.
